To volunteer is to bestow a wonderful gift: the gift of your precious time.
I know that to volunteer is a supremely selfless act – you have a busy life, and a busy schedule with many responsibilities.
Please know that Girl Scouts of Maine appreciates all you do for girls; know that your leadership enhances a girl’s learning, her experiences, and most of all, her belief in herself. You have a direct impact on a girl who has her whole life ahead of her. With your guidance and her Girl Scout experience, she will make choices that will be positive, fruitful and healthy, for herself and her world.
Without you, Girl Scouts would not be what it is today–the number one leadership organization for girls in the world. We recognize there’s no way Girl Scouts could unleash the inner G.I.R.L.s of the nearly 8,000 girls in Maine without your fierce commitment to these girls—to their present needs and to their future success.
